Just watched the DVD, and kept count: A participant in each of the first 7 matches (and in 9 out of the total 11) died tragically before the age of 50.

1. Referee Joey Marella
2. Hercules Hernandez
3. Haiti Kid
4. Junk Yard Dog
5. Dino Bravo
6. Adrian Adonis
7. Davey Boy Smith
8. Miss Elizabeth
9. Andre the Giant

Pretty crazy. A mix of heart-failures, car accidents, drug overdoses, and of course, mafia murders.

Holy crap, you're right willge. Incredibly, apparently all 4 midgets are still alive, including 80-year-old Lord Littlebrook. I apologize for the mis-information
