I've never thought the actor was cute, but I think his accent is off-putting to me as well. I had a thing with a French guy, so maybe Martinez's thicker accent just didn't do it for me.

I dated a French man many moons ago. He was more like (in looks and accent) the French actor Mathieu Amalric than Olivier Martinez.
I found the former's French accent sexy. There is something about Olivier Martinez that is a complete turn off to me and it's not the accent.
