I disagree

Even though it's been years since I've seen this film, I really do disagree with the synopsis posted about this movie. If I had seen it recently, I might even attempt my own synopsis, but I don't think I could do it justice.
I seriously love character acting and I found it to be funny and, at times, a bit moving. Maybe it helps that I like alot of the actors and actresses that are in it, but I think it tells a few really good stories, especially at the end. The movie ends pretty abruptly which I think gives it a very final feeling... everything is as it always has been and then suddenly, it's not... and never will be again. There is no moral, just raw experience which is funny because the whole movie feels like one huge morality train right up until the end and, where it should've wrapped together with one glaring message, it just ends without so much as a whimper.

It's not a satire of the Catholic Church and, if you go into the movie expecting such, of course you're going to be let down. The movie is simply a comedy of one fanatic's life and then turns into a tragedy based on the havoc that fanatic spread throughout the innocents she taught.

POS. I saw it on HBO this weekend. I've seen better high school plays. Like I Heart Huckabees, it tries too hard and looks amateur.
