its awesome they got Kassir to return as the voice but the puppet was so terrible and crappy looking. he was so stiff, his head could only move side to side, the whole body had to move to give the impression he leaned or pulled back. and the mouth, my god the mouth....might as well have been a ventriliquist dummy. lol

the original puppet from the show and first 2 movies was so articulate, especially its mouth...he actually pronounced the words. my guess is they stuck the "Tales.." stuff back into the movie last minute so they had to hire some no name company to create him...or they were too cheap to spend whatever it woulda cost if they went for a quality puppet.

and they didnt even have a closing segment for him? sure there are fake bloopers after the credits but yeah.

Crypt-keeper footage was tacked on later for the DVD. I guess they rushed the design.

As far as I can tell, they used the same puppet that they used for the Tales from the Crypt season DVD menus. Now how cheap is THAT?

Straight to video movie, quick introduction, etc.

Probably no reason to put much effort into it.
