Possibly the worst ending in movie history?

They give the money to charity. It's played COMPLETELY straight. There's no punch line. All the characters more or less get on a soap box, stare at the audience and give them a dressing down about the evils of greed.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was the first - and probably only - time a movie has made me angry.
It is such an awful ending. Such a preachy, self-indulgent mess, that I can't believe no one stepped in and stopped it.

I guess it was easier than filming them take the money and going their separate ways.

The whole movie was an embarrassment so 2/10 from me.

Did you see the ending of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World?

That's what I think of when i watch this movie. It's funny. In It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World they are fighting over money, bag rips and everyone on the ground gets the money.

The ending to that movie was brilliant because the whole point of the film was to make fun of greed, not root for the characters.

I really like the ending and it was a way to stick it to Donald (Trump) Sinclair.

There's one GOOD thing about the ending.

It's 100% CONGRUENT with the rest of the movie.

The WORST part was that they CHANGED the rules at some point; the original rule was that ONE of them was declared the winner, whoever got there quickest, earned the victory (so it should've gone to Rowan's character anyway).

The rule was never that 'each gets their equal share'.

Also, with 2 million dollars in cash bills, everyone just magically HAPPENS to grab 'their share' and not a dollar more or less, when they're holding 'their share'?

IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE SHARED! To ONE victor was supposed to go the spoils!

This movie makes no sense fromt he second it begins until the second it ends.
