Hallo DCOMS + Don't Look Under the Bed is airing!!!

(Originally posted on the Don't Look Under the bed Board)

Just as I was gonna gripe and complain about Disney Channel NEVER showing this movie, not even at 3am, I checked my guide and sure enough they're playing it at 3am tomorrow for the first time in YEARS.

I'm still not completely happy but at least others who remember can see it or expose others to it. It's not fair they don't acknowledge it b/c it's too graphic or whatever the excuse was. Today's kids are too soft as it is, we need to toughen then up. Prepare them for life.

I also have a problem with them airing Aladdin, Freaky Friday and Ratatouille, suggesting they're following a Hallo-theme. Instead they could air Under Wraps, Don't Look Under the Bed, Can of Worms, Phantom of the Megaplex, HOCUS POCUS, or even new Hallo programs of their own. All I'm asking is once a year (at best) in a primetime slot, they can (and do) show those other movies anytime.

Remember how Halloween on tv used to be? So many great programs, not even counting what was on cable. For a kid like me who really wasn't allowed to celebrate Halloween to the fullest, the television specials were the next best thing.

Sigh, at least they still air the Halloweentown Series every year. I missed it this year, but it's not even just about me, I'm an adult now.

Anyway, there are some older Halloween DCOMs airing this month. Here are a few:

3am:
Under Wraps (Sat 10/10...in a few hours)
Phantom of the Megaplex (Sun 10/11)
Don't Look Under the Bed (Sat 10/17)
Stepsister from Planet Weird (Sun 10/18)

8pm
Mom's Got a Date With a Vampire (Wed 10/21)

12pm
Can of Worms (Sat 10/17)
Mom's Got a Date With a Vampire (Thu 10/22...repeat)

Be on the lookout for others. But they only air a few at primetime.

ABC Family will air Hocus Pocus on 10/24 at 6pm.

Jus cuz I have one, two, maybe two drinks sometime, what I'ma AL-ka-holic now?

You're very welcome! I'll keep an ear out. Just out of curiosity are you looking for anything in particular?

You're very welcome. And thank you just the same.

I just realised at 12 and 8pm Disney Channel is showing the Halloweentown series this week, one per day.

On Thurs at 8 pm they will play Casper Meets Wendy

On Halloween starting at 12 they will air (in order) all 4 Halloweentown movies. At 6:20 Twitches and Twitches 2. Last is Mostly Ghostly at 9:35.

For some reason I would like to see The Witches, it scared me as a child. But that, Death Becomes Her, Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown are some I love to watch. Also, Don't Look Under the Bed which I watched every year until they stopped showing it. I love Halloween programs.

Haha! I hope you get to see them all!

FYI I just found out The Witches will be airing on Cartoon Network at 8pm on Halloween. Last one, I promise.
