Took me a very long time to really notice this, but?

Why is Brooke smiling when Chutney flat out said that she meant to shoot her? I mean, had she not been at the Liposuction appointment, Chutney may have shot her, and she could have been the one dead rather than Joseph(Who Chutney shot by accident). Very weird that she was smiling when Chutney admitted that.

reply

Because Chutney admired her own guilt, thus proving Brooke's innocence.

reply

Ummm...duh. Chutney just implicated herself for her own father's murder while under oath. Therefore, all charges against Brooke had to be dismissed. Brooke realized that she was off the hook for murder and was happy...so she smiled.

reply

I know she was happy that Chutney admitted to the murder, but it's still weird that she would be completely happy knowing that the bullet was meant for her.

reply

Smiling and laughing actually is a pretty common reaction to shock. The fact that Chutney had just admitted to murdering her own father shocked everyone. Presumably after the shock had worn off, Brooke would process what Chutney really meant.

reply

Her husband's name was Hayworth, not Joseph.
