Almost brilliant

I like this movie, not cos I think its brilliant, but because of its flaws and because who ever made it was obviously aiming for the right thing it just fell apart in certain areas. I think it main problem is lack of focus. there is know real objective in the film, it also lacks depth and subtext. Its like a posh version of Hollyoaks.
The things it gets right are identifyable characters, who all have their own goals, wit and fit actors. If this was an american production it would be considered genius
