I reccomend Y tu mama tambien. A really great film, a bit like this one, although the homosexual aspects are not developed quite as much.

i already saw it it was great. and the show me love one did not seem that good. funny that you can find it on google video.

"Edge of Seventeen" was a lot like this one. Also "L.I.E." And the French movie "You'll Get Over It."

I think almost every gay kid has had the painful experience of falling in love with his best friend, or a close friend, and that's what affected me most about "Nico and Dani." It will always be a favorite of mine.

i still think L.I.E and Nico and Dani are the best. the others seem kind of too stupid.

Well, they are two great movies, and it's hard to find others that rise to that level.

Another movie that's kind of similar is Brain Drain, or Fuga de Cerebros in Spanish. It's not a gay movie, it's more of a "street punks" kind of movie, which they make a lot of in Latin America. The reason I recommend it is because it too has the theme of a kid who seems to be in love with his best friend.

It's not stated that Panta is gay, but you can tell from his jealousy of Fideo's other friends, and the look of hurt and yearning in those sexy eyes of his, that he has a strong emotional attachment to Fideo, even though he also fantasizes about girls. Also, Panta and Fideo sometimes sleep in the same bed, because Panta is homeless and has nowhere to go.

Brain Drain doesn't have the same emotional depth as Nico and Dani. In fact, it sometimes feels like a Grade-B movie. But it's worth checking out, especially if you like sexy Latino guys. And who doesn't???

Try Sommersturm (Summer Storm)...

Watch Cronenberg's "M.Butterfly" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107468/ if you liked Krampack. It's an american movie (with Jeremy Irons and John Lone) but it's pretty good
