Your opinion here is completely flawed. One prime example that is held not only by me but apparently by many others out there:

Chevy Chase-- I loved almost anything he did on SNL (well..in his one full year there...his guest appearances in later years weren't all good) and I like a few of his movies as well. But there is no denying that he has acted in a lot of sh*tty movies out there.

Personally I don't know how Corky Romano is b/c quite frankly I don't find Kattan nor many of his peers from that invalid SNL franchise to be very funny in the first place.

someone should have told the screenwriters that this was a comedy.

oh, and SNL has been 99% crap for a decade now.

let's see. late 80's early 90's had carvey, hartman, meadows, sandler, farley, myers, lovitz, nealon, schneider, and spade (plus quite a few other good ones).

THEN, we have what I call the Kattan era, featuring greats like Will Ferrell, Will Ferrell, and uh, Will Ferrell.

there is absolutely nothing funny or cool about SNL now. all you got is a bunch of chicks trying to get by by acting wacky, horrible satire of current culture (skits about britney spears and nancy grace will surely stand the test of time), totally unfunny moralistic weekend update (just cuz you're left wing, doesn't mean you don't have a stick up your ass), idiot actors who have to crack up every other sketch so as to try to give the appearance that the sketch is actually funny... hosts that are selected because they are popular with the lowest common denominator and they also have a movie or album coming out. this is just the tip of the iceberg. lorne michaels, you stopped caring a long time ago, didn't ya buddy?

damn, where was I? oh yeah, kattan getting stuck with this Corky Romano skit is what I call Justice.

Homer: "What are you kids laughing at? And if you say Jimmy Fallon I'll know you're lying."
