So what was with the dog porn thing?
I didnt understand the scene when handsome was talking to his dad in the car after he got suspended, and he said he found dog porn in his closet. Explain this too me.

Watch it again, from the beginning, and pay attention.
In middle/junior high school, Handsome had traded one of his dad's porn tapes to another kid. It was "weird porn" and the other kid's mom found it and called Handsome's dad about it. Handsome's dad wanted to call him on it (stealing it and giving it to the other kid), but chickened out due to embarrassment. He knew Handsome knew, but neither ever acknowledged it until years later in the car, when Handsome wanted to let his dad know he'd known his Big Dirty Secret all along.
(Kind of like when my brother was about 16, he tried to grow pot in his desk. Our mom found it, threw it out, and never said anything to him. He knew she knew, and she knew he knew she knew...waiting for the axe to fall was better punishment than sitting him down for a lecture and grounding him. To this day they've never talked about it and knowing him, he probably still loses sleep over it. Handsome's dad is like my brother - he got caught with something "bad" but wasn't punnished/humiliated for it, which kept him on edge.)
