We're lucky in Poland, because "Mission Cleopatra" could be nothing without good dubbing and that's I think this film wasn't popular in english-language countries. Polish dubbing was great, excellent, outstanding - bacause of Bartosz Wierzpięta's translation. With this translation "Mission Cleopatra" becomes something more than normally family movie, and it's much much much more funnier than original version.
shareCrazy europeans. Here in Israel they only dub children's movies. Other movies are subtitled. I don't know about you, but I can't stand seeing a person talks with a voice and words that doesn't fit him. So in my opinion, this movie is best in its original french version.

I'm french and I could show you some examples about dubbing .
The Monty Pythons films are very funny if you understand english, but in french , the dubbings are very bad and annoying.
Personally I hate dubbing. I rather have subtitles any day for any movie, even animated movies. Also if the movie is a language that I don't speak I rather have subtitles. When it's dubbed it's like half of the performance of the actors gets ripped out.

No, no, no... the Norwegian dubbing is the best, LoL xD All the voices are HOT, especially Ceasar's (am I the only one in the entire world who found him HOT in that movie? Dunno about the actor, but...).
Haha well I've only seen the Russian dubbed version, and all I can say is that its EXCELLENT!! xD The puns and everything were still in, and im pretty sure all of the humor was intact, I laughed too many times during the mov!
Personally I normally prefer subtitled movies over dubbed ones, but this is a definite exception I think, at least in Russian :)
