OMFG ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Well I was a fan of this show until this episode. first off the sound effects were BAD recycled sound from Star Wars, and 2nd Count Dracula? really? Give me a *beep* break.

I'm still a fan of the show, but the Transyvania episode seemed like a really strange WTF sort of departure.

yes, i know the post is 3 years old but, Dracula is no less believable than the powers of the Ark, or being able to pull a heart out of a man and he still lives, or the powers of the holy grail. so why would anything in the series turn you off anymore than the stuff in the movies?

reply

I completely get where you're coming from. But for me the difference is that the tone of the series was much more realistic than the movies. With all the stories and characters taken from history is was a bit jarring to have a Dracula episode. Still think it was a great series though.

Well, this episode's Dracula is basically Vlad Tepes, who is a historical person. If the episode's Vlad actually is the 450 year old tyrant or a possessed romanian general named Mattias Targo, I haven't found out yet :P

This episode was also constructed for a Halloween broadcast, which is why they made it a more spookier in tone and story.

I myself think its one of the two best episodes in the series.
