A better DVD.

Actually, I've read a few interviews where he's said that the James Van Der Beek bit was a subplot of "Fiction", but, I've also heard the 3rd Story thing, so I think he might just be playing around with the media. I know that Heather Matarazzo was cut from Storytelling, although, later, he said that he would never cast the same actor twice, unless it was a role reprisal -- which wouldn't work in Storytelling, since Dawn would be about 5 or so when Fiction took place (and I think that's where Matarazzo was going to be placed, in the VanDerBeek plot, assuming the "part of Fiction" story is true...), and she wouldn't have any reason to be in Non-Fiction... so, perhaps that's just another bit of playing with the media in Interviews.

Although, I don't think a SE of Storytelling would be released, just from what Solondz said in the intro to the Happiness script-book, about not wanting to reveal his secrets, much like a magician doesn't, but... well, it doesn't seem to be that he's terribly interested in explaining all he knows, and isn't above having a bit of fun with the truth...

...which, remarkably, ties in with Storytelling. So, hey. I guess things may or may not be revealed later!
