If your partner asked you to, would you... say THAT?

This is an uncomfortable question, but there's been some discussion on these boards about whether the pivotal degradation scene is consensual, is rape, and so on. But the other aspect to this is that it taps into a whole, rather creepy, interracial power dynamic that I've heard Chris Rock refer to before (obviously with a lot more humour than in the film) which means it must be more common than I think. I mean, is there really like a whole, weird, aggressive back-and-forth sexual subculture in mixed-race couples? I mean how common is that kind of behaviour? Common enough that someone on this board can attest to using that kind of language if their other half thought it worked for them and asked them to? (In case the squirming prudishness didn't already come through, personally, no I wouldn't be okay with that. LOL)

"And no regrets?"
