Art imitating life imitating art imitating...

Not bad at all.

Nicely observational in the most part, and some decent, expressive silent acting and believable dialogue. Appropriate soundtrack, and good, atmospheric cinematography, if a little Art-School.

Clever ending, joining the circle as the credits roll.

Reminded me of a quote I read about the graffiti artist Banksy: "It's either superficially deep, or deeply superficial. I'm not sure which."

Felt like the writer/director was on to something, but didn't really go as far as he could have, either because he was distracted, or because he purposely didn't want to be too obvious, in which case it was quite subtle (and I'm English).

I found it very watchable all the way through, and I normally only comment on films I hate, so it definitely had something going on.

Does anybody know if the writer is into TM?
