Is There a Reason It's Never Shown Anymore?

I was wondering if there is a reason why this is never shown on TV? I remember watching it when I was little and really enjoying it and I haven't seen it in years. Maybe I'll have to buy the DVD or something!

I remember Cartoon Network would always air it on Easter morning up until last year or the year before... what a shame that they don't run it anymore.

Maybe Easter is just too somber a holiday. I know these specials are totally secular and owe more to pre-Christian seasonal festivals, but maybe the holiday marking Jesus' death and resurrection was judged to be more religious than X-Mas. I don't know, I'm Jewish and I always liked holiday specials.

Easter IS the most holy day for christians. But I doubt that's the reason, sure there are the extreme devout crazies who somehow think the Easter Bunny is mocking Jesus but that's not a huge group I think, considering that bunnies are still all other the place on tv every Easter.

It's on right now on the CW network

Yes. We switched over late. I feel like I'm hallucinating...

I don't remember ever seeing this. I was 4 years old at Easter of 1971. Wondering if they ever replayed it much after the first year because I remember a lot of the old animations.

This one's a lot freakier than Rudolph.

They are showing it right now on "Me TV". I was surprised, I dont think I had seen it on TV in decades.
