The Beatdown

The movie's paper-thin plot aside, was anyone else unable to suspend disbelief during the Girl's brawl outside the blues club? Call me old fashioned, but when a girl gets the freckles smacked off of her like the Girl did, she doesn't just walk back into a club. Nevermind the fact that she was not bleeding, and had no visible bruises. Am i alone here?

Actually, it's not that uncommon for a woman to be able to take a hit...especially one as stong and devoted as "the Painter". And...I don't mean to be a troll, it's not that I'm trying to start an argument, just making a point, but...it was "the Painter" not "The Girl". "The Girl" was the singer she was in love with. But, I'm glad you did bring up this discusion either way.
