It certainly wasn't an artistic or good film, but it was entertaining and watchable in a daytime movie type way. I like it.
I loved this movie, especially seeing Vince Vaughn playing the wicked stepfather hehe omg he's so hot. Like why do ppl say Vinve Vaughn should NOT do dramas? Like he's AWESOME in them. Also if you want to see him in more dramas check out A Cool Dry Place and The Prime Gig or even Into The Wild.

I watched this late at night, and this was the perfect ending to the day. I can't say this is an "important" film, but I was never bored and the performances were pretty good. 7 stars out of 10.

shareIt has a lot of terrible scenes towards the end. How Travolta charges to Vaughn despite having no sight of where he was. Why Vaughns character throws the flamable liquid everywhere but the person he wants dead. Etc.
Also if you think about it some things are really underdeveloped. The mother character is very basic. etc.
Enjoyable for all the wrong reasons.
