Worth checking out

This is good avant-garde filmmaking. I was highly impressed by the look of the film and by a lot of the visuals. The dialogue is strange and I give the writer/director credit for staying so consistent throughout the film in regards to the way the characters speak. The soundtrack is marvelous and the film is extremely dreamlike. Certainly not for all tastes, but will fit the bill if you're looking for something different.

Andrew McElhinney - the director - has a lot of talent, and I hope he makes a film that capitalizes on it in the future. I didn't really think Story of the Eye was anything that great, although I give him credit for pushing boundaries and staying fiercely underground. I look forward to this director's next film, as he is one of the few new American directors that is actually doing something different and exciting with the medium.

I completely disagree: this movie is garbage.

There's no plot, the acting is terrible, there's zero character development (so much so you barely even hear mention of their names), and it's so verbose that it makes Henry David Thoreau look like Aaron Seltzer by comparison.

Do something better with your 82 minutes, like taking a walk or watching a different film. This is nothing short of pretentious crap.
