Satire

I just finished watching Girls Against Boys, and wrote a post in the message boards, as those two movies are just as misunderstood. How can so many people think this movie embraces killing men? This is satire goddammit, and a brilliant one, too! It turns around the concept of porn, of which most is very degrading and objectifying towards women. In this film, the men are the objects, and they really are treated like such. That they kill them afterwards is logical in my opinion. It could be seen as a metaphor, also making the satire aspect stronger. Most people who hate this are men. Why is that? Because you see men treated like objects? Because they are killed? Why? I bet you a hundred dollars you like watching porn. It's the same, just without the killings. And the violence in the movie wasn't even bad, compared to modern horrorfilms like later Saw parts or the Evil Dead remake. So what was it, that disgusted you so much? It seems like most of the people who watched it just watched it out of curiosity. You knew you were going to see a movie with women killing men, and that it's extremely graphic in terms of sex. What did you expect? In my opinion, this movie does a great job at telling it's message. People are just way too dumb to get what it's about.
