Hey, I am a teen and quite interested in this. I really want to see CALIGULA, and it's only rated 18A here in Canada, but I wanna know about this. My parents were OK with HOSTEL (Considering it sucked), and AMERICAN PSYCHO the uncut version, so on a scale of 1-10, how graphic is this movie?

Definitely a 10!!! It contains a very graphic rape scene, bloody violence throughout and scenes of real sex. It's a very disturbing movie and not that brilliant either, therefore you should avoid this one until you are of legal age to view it.

Can't you manage to see this without your familly ? I think you should try to watch it by yourself, the film should be much more effective this way and besides don't you think it's kinda weird watching real blowjobs followed by a bloodfest with you mom?
shareI saw it when I was 15. It's pretty graphic, the violence is no worse than your usual episode of CSI. There is a lot of sexual violence though, easier to watch if you're a man I suppose. It's a rubbish film, no better than hostel

If you're actively seeking out Caliigula and Baise-Moi because it's 18 rated, and are using Hostel and American Psycho as an example of how your mommy and daddy lets you watch movies with blood, then no, you haven't seen many disturbing movies.
I thought Hostel was better. I think the sex is supposed to be artsy but comes off a bit gratuitous.
If you don't know what gratuitous means- don't watch this...
I would have been fine with this at 16.
But then again, if you have to ask: Is this appropriate for my age? Then no, it probably isn't because it's only once you turn to the magic 18 that you suddenly develop the maturity to deal with a bit of violence and sex.
