better than expected

i was fairly surprised at this one. had the trademarks i like. good pace, good plot, plausible, nice twists and turns, and of course filmed in the desert. perhaps my fave locale of all

enjoyed it.

i wonder why, in 2002, this one went straight to video. i mean, it isn't listed as a feature film. why? anyone know anything about this movie? it had real actors, obviously a real budget. did something go wrong in the business end? just curious
