kareena kapoor and srk
look terrible onscreen and should never be paired together again
shareNo way! I totally disagree, I don't like Kareen at all, but SRK & Kareena were a very good couple in this movie, you should see his face light up everytime he saw her, surely that was good acting on his part but also Kareen was excellent casted as a young, well arrogant, princess.
And the songs had so much energy with both of them, but SRK has the habit of putting his head in the neck of his actresses, I guess Kareena is ticklish so that made some weird moments. They're casted opposite of each other again in Don, go check it out!
I thought they looked great together.
Larry: There's a girl out there who calls herself Venus, what's her real name?
Alice: Pluto.
Kareena and SRK were great together in Asoka..
sharei just think that personally hes too good for her
she didnt really fit that role
the original pick was ash and i think for that role ash would have been better
IIFA winning performance want required for that role so ash would have done alot better
kareena overacts
ash is at least beatiful while shes doing it
i think ash would have dont it alot better...shes a better actress than kareena but thats my opinion
Aish can act given a good director so I think she would have worked too but Santosh Sivan someone who would look beautiful without ANY mankeup and he over-ruled SRK and picked Kareena. I think she did a great job.. And now again in Omakra she was very good.
shareThey had a great chemistry together! But it seems that SRK is good enough to have great chemistry with almost any co-star.
shareagreed - no evidence of bad chemistry with srk around!
shareI disagree- In KANK the SRK/Rani Mukarjee pairing was.... odd.
I like SRK/Kajol best, I think.

~Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
the odd couple that worked togther somehow IMO..
shareOdd? Seems to me that their pairing is one of the best in Bollywood! In fact, for me he does better with Rani than even Kajol (I know this is a bit of a stretch).
shareo yea i kinda agree on dat
but i dint c asoka so i cant say anything abt this movie
Life is one damn thing over and over.
Kareena was wearing no make-up of the usual kind that makes you look better. Instead she sported a smudged bindi, red bruises, mud, soot and blood! The make-up artist really let rip on her face. Not to mention Shar Rukh's, which was caked in ash from the fire, that amazing all-over mud pack in the bath, plus all of the above too.
Can you imagine Rani submitting to any of this? I've only ever seen her looking perfect.
SRK was a bad choice for the title role to begin with, playing "Asoka" needs a lot of maturity which he certainly doesn,t have The director should have cast someone who has the charisma to be Asoka, Even a new entrant with required skills would have helped Kareena was someone this movie could easily do without Jhonny Lever was NOT NEEDED either such movies can do without comedy The script was good,so were the costumes and camera work Music was good.
shareLOL at that since he produced the movie! I would like to see which new actor would have more maturity - Hritik maybe? How about Salman? BTW - a new Asoka is coming out with Ajay in the title role and Bipasha as the hottie wife. Cannot wait to see that flop show.
'A wed wose, how womantic'
The director should have cast someone who has the charisma to be Asoka
I finally saw the movie, it was very interesting. To see SRK with Kareena was interesting too.
You are right about Rani, she is not getting muddy or that type of thing.
I do think though Rani and SRK are even better than Kajol and DRK, But I still have to see Chalte, Chalte. I've see the others they made together.
