There is a new film called Kunal Avadana that is going into production soon starring AB as the elderly Ashoka and Tabu as his youngest wife. Arjun Rampal will play Kunala who is blinded by his jealous and sexually frustrated step-mother.

There will also be another film by Rajkumar Santoshi which will apparently cover the three major stages of Ashoka's life - his boyhood, his fierce conquest and his adoption of Buddhism and ahimsa (non-violence).
