WRITE TO SHOWTIME!! HERE'S WHAT I WROTE:

To Whom It May Concern:

I'm a fan of the original Showtime series Resurrection Blvd. I discovered this series on home video and have since been hooked! Unfortunately, shortly after finishing the season, I was disheartened to find out that the rest of the series is currently unavailable with no word on if they will ever become avialable. I've read that RB did not make much money upon its DVD release, which most likely contributed to further releases being put on hiatus. If Showtime is worried about losing money on a DVD release, they should keep in mind that they have a few options. 1. Release the episodes ON Demand so that Showtime subscribers could view them at their leisure. 2. Release them digitally, either through iTunes or Amazon, or some other retail digital outlet. 3. Amazon has a "burn on demand" service which allows networks to sell their shows to the public, in a burned DVD format, without the risk of pressing DVDs. Nickelodeon has had some success with this, releasing their own original programs such as Rocko's Modern Life and Doug. Also, at a time when Latinos are the second biggest minority in the US, that's millions of potential buyers/TV viewers, releasing Resurrection Blvd. could breathe a new life into the series. I thank you for your time and hope to see the series available soon.
