In terms of gameplay it still is probably my favourite mgs game. MGS 1 storyline was great and Liquid's voice/character was brilliant and was a shame he was hardly heard in MGS 2 and not at all in 4. Anyone else agree? The game is much more fun playing on Hard difficulty or above

Yeah, I love this game too. My favorite part: the final codec conversation between Raiden and the "Colonel."
And yes, it was kind of a shame that we didn't hear Cam Clarke in MGS4 but nothing we can do.

Right there with you guys. In 1997, at 10 I played Metal Gear for the first time and fell in love with it. Crazy thing is, I didn't even play 2 or 3 until Christmas last year when I finally got them as a gift. My 22nd birthday this September, I got a PS3 and MGS 4. Just beat the game last night lol. But yeah, this is always going to be my absolute favorite game. I don't think anything else will come close. This is one game I won't ever get tired of.
