And think they probably spent maybe a year on makeing it and look at 2005s resident evil 4 that was a great game with great graphics.

The games for ps2 they got now the graphics are *beep* except for resident evil 4 best graphics ive seen in awhile

FF XII graphics were pretty good but yeah mgs games always out do every other game graphics wise when they come out

I'm actually going through MGS2 right now for what feels like the hundreth time and I am still pretty impressed by the graphics...and I've been playing COD4 for months now.

For 2001 it was the best. The world was PS2 for most of 2001.

The graphics were unchallenged in 2001, so I guess calling them 'good' is an understatement.

Yeah, it's amazing how many great games came out on the PS2 and continue to hold up to this day. Of course, I play my retro games on a CRT so they don't look as bad. I could play them on component but it's just nostalgic playing them on the old tube TV .

I'm playing the PC version in 4k and it still looks great. Shows how important art design is.
