whinning *beep* maggots

Enough of the Leary/Hicks debate from everyone...PLEASE.
similarity does not mean the exact same. both comics do have similar material but as many people have pointed out completely different style and direction. leary was much more angry than hicks on stage,( shut the *beep* up all you hicks fans who think he was just as angry or crazy on stage as leary, he wasn't) while hicks is more subtle in his deliverys. Both are the same kind of comedian, cynical and pissed off but with different approches. And stop acting like hicks invented bits about smoking and music and every other bit you people are so sure leary stole. Like pointed out before most of the so called "stolen" material has already be proven to have been preformed by leary as far back as the early 80's well before he knew or heard any hicks. After leary and hicks did meet and became friends they used to headline for each other but it didn't last long because a lot of club owners said they were too much alike. Again they are similar, but people you have to understand similar people and styles deliver similar subjects and results.



I like hicks comedy too, extremely funny, but seriously you guys need to *beep* shut up. this has gone on too long and the only reason most of you always come back to it is because you absolutley hate leary. But the fact is besides the bitching you guys do about the "stolen" material you won't acknowledge that he says some pretty funny *beep* and if you like hicks how can you not like leary and if you like leary how can you not like hicks? Most of what you guys say has been said so shut up and understand that SIMILAR AND SAME are NOT the SAME THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
