All in all, a good show, not a great one. But the finale...

... and its crescendo had me bawling in tears like a baby.
On the other hand, some of the fillers going on through it paid out less than I expected, and some storylines didn't catch my interest that much (some examples are the Claire-school counselor relationship, and some of the Chenowith dilly-dally, which got old and repetitive over the time).
Nonetheless, top-notch directing and acting. The writing, from time to time, not so much. Still a very solid work of TV art.

To me, it was overall, a GREAT show.
Probably my favorite all time. There has never been another show like it.

I agree with you that the show had its highs and lows. I will add that I didn't find the ending as moving as some fans of the show.

A solid show, but I wouldn't call it a great one.

I have to add I didn't care much for most of SFU cartoonish dream-like sequences. And it's not like "they're not my overall taste": I'm very much into "Twin Peaks", as well David Lynch himself's and Takashi Miike's cinema, just to mention a couple names.

I'd call it great, not my fave of all time or anything, but better than good. The Finale definitely moved it up a few points as well. Very powerful and well done.

The finale was, to quote the words of Jeremy Jahns, AWESOMETACULAR!!!
