Should I watch it even though I know the ending?

I got the ending spoiled. Just wondering, will that effect my viewing experience? Thanks.

You should definitely watch it. It's the best TV series ever created.

The ending is not the point, the journey is.

Yeah the ending is hardly a spoiler, everyone dies in this show and in real life. Good show with very well written characters. True Blood could've maybe ended half as good had they ended it in season 5 when he left the show, yes they're totally different types of shows but Alan created both... along with Banshee he certainly knows his job better than most.

All true except that Alan Ball did not create Banshee. Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler were the creators and main writers of the series. Alan Ball was one of the executive producers in the first season but that's about it.

I say still watch. Like another poster said, the series is more of a journey. Words can't express how much this series means to me and how it helped me deal with so many personal struggles. I'd definitely suggest watching all seasons.

Just watched the pilot episode and I am hooked. Will definitely continue. Thanks for everyone's responses.

You should watch from the beginning and through its entirety.

The impact of the finale will not affect you unless you watch the series in its entirety.

Everyone should experience this series

Each character's story essentially "ends" before the final sequence, so you knowing that there is a death montage will not impact your experience of the show. Sure, you get to know a teeny bit more about what happened with their lives since you are seeing them many years on, but none of it is earth shattering -- it's more satisfying.

as others have said... absolutely. knowing that the ending montage shows how each of them dies in the future is really just an epilogue. has nothing really to do with the show. and its not a spoiler in the least.
