Changed the Script?

I thought there was a different storyline before they shot this film! Val Kilmer and Christian Slater were conisdered to be partners and Daryl Hannah was up to play Val Kilmers girlfriend..... I can't exactly remember the original storyline but it was different from that we saw in "Run for the Money", which really isn't a good film.

Whe I've read the story for the first time I thought this one's gonna be a really good Thriller. But in the end.... it was very disappointing. It had very good moments. The beginning is good, and the scenes showing Slater and Kilmer together were entertaining. At least Kilmer had about 10 minutes of screentime. If you look at the posters you think he is the lead actor. "Run for the Money" is a Christian Slater-Actionfilm which only is horrible when the actionscenes are coming. I don't think they had a budget north of 10 or 15 million dollars.

An entertaining movie but nothing special with bad actionscenes!
