Seriously, am I the only one who enjoyed that main event? Personally, I think the screw job ending...and fact heel walked away as WWF champion must have ruined the match for most people.

Honestly, I thought it was fun main event... Granted, I thought that Big Show was probably gone too soon in the match...and that ending left bad taste in my mouth, however, there were plenty of entertaining, funny moments and was I kept entertained during the entire match. Do not get me wrong... this is by no means best WrestleMania main event ever, however, I thought this was great main event, for what is was...and in my mind, underrated match... I cannot be the only person who really enjoyed this match?

I look back on this Mania now, and I must admit I dont enjoy it as much as I used to. What annoys me is most is there wasnt a single proper one on one match, they were all either tag, triple threat, or 4 way matches. that is unacceptable for an event like wrestlemania
The main even did surprise me when Vince turned on the Rock, and I didnt mind that a heel got to keep his title. Thats a brave thing to do, and at least we got to see the crappy Stephanie get flattened by the Rock

I just watched WrestleMania 2000 again and I've gotta say it's pretty good, it has got to be the most underrated WrestleMania of all time.

It sucked it felt like an "In Your House" PPV, how many times was WWF/E going to force HHH vs Rock down our throats?

It sucked. I can barely remember a thing about it. The main event was terrible, why Foley and Big Show couldn't have had their own match, I don't know. They were amazing at Mania the year before, and the ladder tag team match was not as good as the one that came before, or as good as the ones that followed.

I Thought it was an okay event sved by the main event and the 3 way tag match.

Is it me or did it not have a wrestlemania feel to it?

The whole damn card sucked. It would haave been alright for No Way Out or Unforgiven but it wasn't Wrestlemaina worthy. Not a single good match.

B+

Above average WM, nothing crazy special.

- Zero 1-1 matches made it feel like a giant exhibition with run ins & interference.
- WM2000 hyped as the biggest WM of all-time (at the time*) but the venue & card could no way match that build-up.
- TLC, Benoit-Y2J-Angle, & main event are quite rewatchable... too bad TLC made the main event look a bit soft.
Big Show an obvious fill-in for Austin, gets the usual 3 on 1 treatment thus negating the value of his inclusion whatsoever.
One of the rare WM main events with a. no title change &/or b. heel retaining the belt.

Thankfully there were no truly poor matches that so many WMs seem to get stuck with.

I thought it was pretty good WrestleMania. I loved the Three-way ladder match and Benoit vs Angle vs Jericho. The main event was good too and the ending was pretty shocking. I thought for sure The Rock would walk away with the title. It was a shocker that Triple (a heel) retained the title at WrestleMania.
