I just caught about half of this movie on IFC today and the description said that Sarah Polley's character's fiancee was killed by the monster.... If that's so... Anyone else think that she was a little bit of a whore by sleeping with that guy and almost making out with that other one just before? If there's something I missed please let me know, because that just confused me...
sharei think you did miss something actually. first of all, the film crew has been missing for some time before The Boss lets Beatrice go to Iceland to look for them. she is in a plane crash immediately before making it to iceland, and she spends six months in hospital recovering from a traumatic surgery. so... if you do the math, it has been like 8(ish) months (that is an estimate) since she lost her fiance. i am pretty sure she is free to sleep around at this point.
