Better in repeat viewings?

I saw this one quite a long time ago and although I'm a huge fan of Hartley's work, this and The Girl from Monday are the ones I've enjoyed the least. In fact, No Such Thing may be one of the very few movies to bore me to sleep.

But I watched the trailer again and I got the sense that maybe I should watch it again. Did it get better for anyone after a second viewing or so?

I just bought a Brand New copy from Ebay and have never seen the movie....

I TRULY MISS STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN!

My wife & I viewed it in 2011 and were somewhat disappointed (bored), but I viewed it again last night and, while still boring in some ways, I enjoyed it more (the monster's sometimes laugh-out-loud funny) and I also was able to figure out what the film's all about. See my review for details, if you're interested.

I just watched it for a second time, about three years after the first viewing and I enjoyed it even more. It is a fun, wise, playful movie.
