Questions, questions, questions!!

I've seen this film many times but I have a couple of questions....
1. Who is Espen Eckbo? Is he a famous comedian in Norway?
2. Did the group "BOYZVOICE" start as a skit and then developed into a feature, or was it an original script?
3. Was the footage of the awards show at the end of the film a real life performance of "BOYZVOICE", and if so did the audience know who "BOYZVOICE" was, and that it was going to be included in a film?
C'mon Norway.. Answer my questions so I can sleep tonight!!!!

Hey, Nathan

1) Espen Eckbo is a famous comedian in Norway. He has done mostly comedy club shows (like Saturday Night Live in US or Monty Python in the UK - not that the shows are similar in humour, but just to draw a picture) on Norwegian television.

2) In an episode he did on the comedy club show Mandagsklubben, he did a skit as a member of a boyband, where he completely parodied the boybands popular in modern culture, like Boyzone, Westlife and Backstreet Boys. This was popular, and as a 'joke' the band produced a song called "Let me be your Father Christmas tonight" and released it. It sold record numbers of singles, and with the popularity confirmed, they went on to make a mocumentary about this alleged boyband.

3) The footage at the end is really a true performance by Boyzvoice, at a genuine awards show called HitAwards held in Oslo every year. Some people knew who they were, but they were not at their most famous at that time, although Espen Eckbo was famous enough on his own to get the performance on the stage. The audience had no idea whatsoever that this was to be part of a film. The shots of the likes of Aqua (also performing at the show) and a few other artists (I think, can't remember off the top of my head) are real.

Any other questions?
