The funniest line - Get Ready to Be Boyzvoiced (2000) Discussion

I really like Timothy's "Det er en homseklubb!" ("It's a gay club!) when he is talking with the web designer about the latter's idea to change the band's name to Boyzboice (seeing as the domain name www.boyzvoice.com had already been taken by someone else). M'Pete talking about his priorities (first mum, then the career, then dad, then the girlfriend (if she is really hot she might come before dad)) is also hilarious...

LOLOLOL i agree...all those lines in the movie are hilarious. i love how they talk about the rumours about being gay...and M'pete is adamently saying they're not..and Hot tub is all like "well, if one of us were it wouldn't be a problem" ahha. and the fact that boyzboyz.com in the end becomes his gay site ahaha.

also, timothy saying "i'm a big boy" in english. it's just hilarious.

LOLOLOL, oh! and when M'Pete is talking about fame and how it's changed all his friends LOL..and then he's being all vain about his make up.

oh oh oh!!! but the best line ever is when the security guard is telling the camera crew that they can't film in the mall during the charity concert, and they say they have the permit..and he says "i have no authority to contradict you on that" LOLOLOL. that cracks me up.

Is "Härlig är jorden" a Christmas carol in Norway? In Sweden, where I am from, it is commonly sung at funerals and is not particularly associated with Christmas. Thus, I always thought that scene with Ove especially funny seeing as he has for some reason chosen to sing a burial song. Maybe that scene only brings on additional connotations for Swedish people, however; if the song is indeed a Christmas carol in Norway.

Maybe it is bit like Ove's obviously Swedish traffic sign that he keeps in the background in his room, and which says EU-tull (in Swedish "European Union Customs") - a sign commonly found at the Swedish border. In Norwegian, "tull" however means "nonsense" and not "customs". In other words, for Norwegians, the sign declares a warning of "European Union Nonsense" (Norway is of course not a member country of the EU). I just love that little Norwegian/Swedish humour in the film. I suppose that joke is completely lost on a non-Scandinavian audience though...

there are so many funny lines in this movie, i would have to re-watch this film again to catch 'em all:')
by the way, in the end it states that Espen sings "spy me at noon"... is that the truth? i mean... if that's the case, he could surely become a praised singer as well!

famous men over forty seem to be my calling.

Before one of the concerts, the guy who introduces the band says "Er dere klare for å get ready to be boyzvoiced", which means "Are you ready to get ready to get Boyzvoiced". Hilarious.

It's not really a line, but when M'Pete does a falsetto in Spy Me at Noon, I fall over laughing every time! Especially since it's Morten Harket singing, mocking his own James Bond song.

Before the consert when the "warm-up" guy, is going on the stage and tells a lousy joke, and no one is laughing... priceless:)

Many of the above mentioned lines are really funny. But one of my favourites is when they are beeing filmed while working as furniture movers, and m'pete cant figure how to use the lift, and his boss says "iq er no dritt?" - "IQ sucks, huh?". I guess its funnier in norwegian tho :)
