Is is just me or is this film being championed by a lot of Skips???

Hello.

I love this film - P##S myself everytime i see it, in most respects it is better than "This Is Spinal Tap"... but i get the feeling outside of OZ few people are posting for this fabulous film (Come on Norway!!!)... God Bless SBS - I can't wait to return to Australia and tune in and dig up my tape!!!... The scene where their manager was trying to squeeze the record company was fantastic...

I'm Norwegian and I love this movie. Espen Eckbo is a comic genius.

I'm norwegian, and I think this is a work of genious. I have no idea where Espen Eckbo and Henrik Elvestad come up with those incredibly uncomfortable and embarassing situations, like that party after their first concert with the three twelve-year-old girls, and they try to think of something to do and talk about. It's almost on the same level as "The office". I asolutely love this movie.

This is definitely better than Spinal Tap. I wish there was a follow-up

I am Australian and saw this film when a friend lent me a VHS copy he had taped from SBS. I gave it back to the person who lent it to me, then 3 months later had an urge to watch it again and found out my friend had taped over it! I was devasteted and will definitely order it from Norway. I agree though White Whale, there is a big Australian following.

I think SBS plays this film each year at Eurovision time. I eagerly lookforward to it being played and often quote the lines as they are said in the movie, especially the "I'm a boy/I'm a big boy!" lines! Ove is my favourite character, because there is a little bit of him in me when I was that age! Thankfully I outgrew that!
