What's the difference between the 1998 Yugioh thing and the 2000 Yugioh thing?

"Yuugiou: Duel Monsters" is the 2000 series and was dubbed into English.
Yeah, the 1998 series was more like the introduction of the 2000 series. The two series wasn't connected..cos the 2000 series has a story of its own.
The 1998 series was basically about the Shadow Game and the 2000 series was about Duel Monsters...it's really confusing to explain so I suggest you just watch it.... there are some sites that offers downloads...I'd love to give it but unfortunately, I forgot the link already...
I didn't like the dubbing 4Kids did actually...they turned a great anime into a kiddy show...considering the voice of the main character sounds like there's gravel on his mouth everytime he talks...-_-*sigh...
I heard that they want to show the 1998 series to America but I don't know what happened...oh well...I guess the American audience will just have to wait and see....

1998 was actully only in Japan and gave yugi the name King of Games cuz he mastered a lot of games in it.(Only played duel monsters a few times.)
