Theres several but one I recently saw stood out was "cereal killer". Just so heart-breaking to think about that. I can't imagine a father doing that to his own kid :(
The one about the young, pregnant mistress who got killed and stuffed into the barrel was horrific too. Really tragic

The episode titled, "Family Ties".
This was the story about Christopher Porco who tried to kill his own parents. He severely injured/maimed his mother, but his father died from the attack. To this day he denies being involved.
I think I remember that one - theres couple of kid killer episodes.
One especially horrifying one - the guy who had his head busted open while he was asleep. Gets up, walks downstairs, picks up the paper...

Yes, the Porco case was horrific. Still, I had to laugh at the reënactment actor doing his best zombie impression while playing the brain-damaged father.
shareThe one that is really horrifying was Darlie Routier stabbing her small boys and made it look like an intruder killed her boys. One started to crawl and she went back and stabbed him again. Later she threw a party at their graves literally dancing on them.

Watched another repeat recently - the one about the "bedroom basher" was just awful. The husband spent 16 years in jail because his wife mistakenly claimed (due to aphasia) that he was the attacker. I can't imagine going thru something like that..
I think it was called "Honor Thy Father." A young girl was murdered by her parents for becoming too Americanized. They stabbed her to death and the entire thing was caught on audio...she can be heard begging for help while her mom holds her down so her dad can stab her more effectively. Horrible.

Material Evidence was pretty saddening. Killing kids to get his jollies. If the punishment fit the crime, there would be less of this sort of thing.
shareOne rare episode where no one was killed, a lady brought her little girl to work because she couldn't find a babysitter. The boss didn't like the kid getting in the way so he told her to go play outside, where a delivery truck ran over her and took off. She ended up with permanent brain damage and when they interviewed her later her face was all caved in. In fact they were able to find the guy by matching up the tire tracks left on the little girl's face.
Really gut-wrenching to see a child's life ruined like that. The blurb at the end stated she finally died in her thirties.

I just watched one episode called Shot of Vengance. It is about a woman who gets infected with HIV by her lover. That one was a really sad case. One of the saddest I have seen so far, and I have seen quite a few. I was also remembering one where a guy infects his ex girlfriend with cancer. Can anyone tell me the name of that case?. I remember that in the end, her husband died from alcoholism. He fell into a depression cause he was afraid that he too would develop cancer. What a sad case.

I don't think you can infect someone with cancer. I'm sure if you could, a lot more ex husbands and ex wives would have gotten cancer. You can transfer other diseases, just not cancer.
shareYou sort of can. He planted the chemicals that scientists use to infect animals with cancer (for the purposes of scientific research) into her drink. Humans usually die from that right away-if they survive, there is always a possibility of them developing cancer later in life. It happened.
shareThe one where the mother and her daughters on vacation were raped and killed and thrown into the water with cement blocks while they were still alive. Just thinking about how the mother would have felt as she watched her daughters being raped and killed just breaks my heart.

Was that the one where they accepted a boat ride from a stranger they met at the gas station? If that's the one, yeah that was really horrible. imagine being the last one to die.
Yeah, that's the one. I just think you would have to be such an evil person to throw someone in the water tied to a cement block while they were still alive and while loved ones were watching... ugh.

two other ones I just remembered both involving young daughters who were I think random victims
1) Young girls car is found idling by the side of the road. with blood stains inside. Turns out , some guy kidnaps her after some kind of road rage incident where he blocks off the road with his car and uses an ak-47? My memory is hazy but it was just so random and unheard of. I think i remember her father breaking down when he was talking about her
2) another young girl whose car is found on the side of the road. She's found in a storage freezer in a (stolen?) uhaul - neighbors called the cops after finding it strange that there was a uhaul at the house for months and with power cords going into it. Turns out the guy had used a fake police trooper outfit and lights to pull the girl over and then hit her with something and cut her up in his storage space. horrible...

The monster killed two husbands and attempted to kill and frame her daughter for the murders.
Luckily, she was too stupid to spell or pronounce "antifreeze" multiple times.
Every time I see that episode I think how absolutely horrible that lady was. It wasn't enough to kill your husbands but you try to kill your own daughter and frame her for their murder?!
