Live action Evo series?

I love X Men Evolution! I wish they hadn't ended it so soon. I think they should make a live action Evolution tv series. The movie just doesn't do it for me.
They could start with the xmen being young, as they are in evo and add more characters every few episodes. If they did it right, it could be amazing. It'd be a great teenager-young adult series for all of those people that grew up watching the cartoon.
Does anyone else think an X Men Evolution live action tv series would be cool?

With the live-action movies, that'd be difficult. But with the right budget & cast, I'd love it!

A live action X-men series would be great. Given how genre shwos these days are being given huge budgets (Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, LOST, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc.) I think we're now at the perfect point to make a television adaptation of X-men with a sizable budget to fully convey the world that was just never possible with previous special effects and budgets.

I could see making a live-action show based off this series. Considering we have shows like "Gotham", "The Flash", "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D", etc. I could see them making a show about a young generation of X-Men, my only hope would be for a good cast and great budget. If X-Men Evolution was a live action series it would be much more popular and appreciated.

I've actually considered this myself and think it would be a great idea but. . .I just know in the back of my mind that the creators and casting people would find ways to screw it up.

If it's a live-action show revolving around mostly teenagers, they'd obviously move the rating up to PG-13 (because cartoon Evolution was aimed at little kids, even though a lot of teens watched it). And if they moved the rating up to PG-13, that means that they'd show a lot more risqué material than what they showed on Evolution, which means a lot of storylines revolving around hormone driven, face-sucking teenagers and their petty love triangles.

I'd REALLY hate it if a live-action version of Evolution came about, and they just turned it into another angsty teen drama like the ones they have on the CW all the time. One thing I loved/appreciated about Evolution was all the emphasis on the action. They found ways to sprinkle in occasional physical/romantic relationships without going overboard with it.
