Where are they now?

This is not a troll thread, I'm just here to explain where the old cast went, and how they are completely overrated.
Drummond: work union, became too expensive for SEGA to use. He had great delivery, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he had little to no acting ability.
Humphrey: joined an acapella band. His voice felt empty to me.
Douillard: talent coordinator at the San Diego County Fair. Wouldn't miss her, she delivered no emotion whatsoever. Why would you praise someone who made a character sound like a dull Mary-Su?
McGaharn/Drier: Both stopped acting. The former gave absolutely no emotion whatsoever, and the later made his character sound high. No one is that calm, especially Knuckles.
Wulfeck's: news executive. Her voice to me sounded EXTREMELY grating.
And here's a big one
Bringas: okay, let me be frank with you, I absolutely can't stand those who want him back. Well, you know what, he'll never come back and you know why? HE'S TOO OLD!!!!!!!!!!! If he kept voicing Tails, it'd be more of a disaster than his voice in Heroes. Do you rally want a 20 year old man to voice an 8 year old fox, huh, HUH!?
Bristow: dead. He sounded too evil for my tastes.
The rest, I can't really say.
If you're gonna deny these points, don't respond. The Adventure cast was overrated then, and they're overrated now.
Drummond was the only one who even cared about the franchise, while the others didn't.

"This is not a troll thread"

*proceeds to post vehemently bashing the old actors and their fans at every opportunity*

Oh wait I'm denying some of your points, I guess I'm not allowed to respond...sheesh.

I honestly don't know what to even say to this, ranting about this now is the equivalent to getting mad for no reason and yelling at a brick wall. Everyone who originally begged for the old cast to come back around the time the cast switch happened have most likely moved on by now, myself included. Plus, I believe you yourself have said elsewhere that there's no need to get mad at the individual actors and instead blame the direction when poor acting is on display (i.e. 4kids anime dubs) why the double standard?

I mean, we get it. You don't like the original cast, that's fine and all, we all have our preferences...but there's no reason to be so vehement about it. I personally liked the original cast, while they were flawed I felt they brought a lot of heart into their roles and had great voices for the characters. They're obviously not your favourite cast and that's fine, but there's no use in being spiteful over it. We all know that the original cast isn't going to return any time soon especially in this day and age, the actors as well as most of the fanbase have moved on by now.

Also FYI, your opinion =/= facts. You yourself don't know whether the others cared or not. I don't know either, but I'm not saying "they never cared" as if it were a fact rather than an assumption. Also it could just be me, but the way you wrote off Deem Bristow immediately after mentioning his death seemed a bit disrespectful.

From where I'm standing, most fans of the original cast who were originally outraged by the change to the 4kids cast have quieted down significantly since then, I dunno, maybe I've just been in the wrong places...then again, I really try not to involve myself in the Sonic fandom anymore, to avoid complaints about voice changes and eye colour and whatnot, I simply don't care anymore and I feel you should take a step back and relax. Your responses to old posts from people who stopped coming here are not going to be read by them, so it's a wasted effort. Just appreciate whichever cast you prefer and move on, the more rational Sonic fans out there did.

Who's to say I didn't? I made those posts over a YEAR ago. I get that you like them, but I'm sorry, I don't see what made the original cast so perfect.
