A film that really drags u thru the relationship with the main Character.
Where in the world woulda u thunk ,..you would wind up liking the character in the beginning where you hated him in end?! "do u think life is beautiful?!"
Felt to me that the film assumed the viewer would be interested in the protagonist's destiny without really giving reason to do so.
Also I felt the unlinear storytelling didn't work here, it could have been better with conventional timeline. It's like we learn in the end why we should have cared about this story. Having said that, I feel that the story wasn't that great even if told from start to finish.
This film had some stylistic similarities with other Korean films but it really didn't do it for me. I've seen much better Korean films.
youre mostly alone there. the storytelling does work.... to an extent one might be tempted to call it objectively working (indirectly stating it as a fact therefore)
