So after the younger brother is told the truth and Valeria and him are walking away from Marcos, Valeria gives this warm smile to Juan .. That kind of spills the beans there that there is something up, till that point Valeria has been so very cool towards Juan ..

The viewer is supposed to believe that the smile is because Juan spilled towels on purpose as Fede was leaving to keep him there. Then he could be called back to hear the truth about Marcos swindling Valeria and Fede.
