I found this movie thrilling. The ending was shocking. The plot line was mostly believable and written for exactly the effect that it had. Having a background in pnuematic and hydraulic rams, the pretense was somewhat pridictable for me, but for a viewer without that knowledge, the story will keep you guessing.I would give it 7.5 stars. A must see for mob movie lovers and wanna-be stunt men like me.

Sorry, this isn't Tarantino or Kubrick. It's just boring, boring and boring. Any barbiturate is more "thrilling" than this slow paced, coma inducing moronically written junk.
I admit that this movie was flawed, but I liked it enough all because of one scene: the brutal run-down slaying of Cuba Gooding Jr.
I wasn't expecting it and thought it was a well shot scene, atleast compares to the rest of the movie. Matthew Modine hits him and looks back and sees he still alive, then cuts to the shot of Cuba all choking on his own blood and then Modine backs over him. Thought it was very cool, any movie that kills CBJr in such a violent way can't be all bad!
