I haven't seen this movie but I think you should watch the movies like Mera Saaya (1966), Wo Kaun Thi (1964), Khamosh (1985).
shareI think "Teesri Manzil" would be right up your alley. Like Gumnaam it has some fairly gripping and well shot crime story, kind of like a film noire but with LOTS of colour, plus Shammi Kapoor's wacky style of dancing and some rocking songs. Also a girl hockey team trying to exact revenge on a allegded rapist...
And just like Gumnaam it features Bollywood's notorious bad girl Helen in some out of this world sets shaking her booty.
