The title means "someone I know", but I will have to make time to translate the rest. My wife teaches Hindi, I will get her to do this :-)

Thanks I appreciate it! It's funny because I have been doing some research on the net and I've come up with a couple of translations, although they are similar they are really not the same. Maybe in the Hindi language there are similarities in translating to English but now I'm interested in your wife's definition of these words. Thanks in advance for your kindness!

I found this online, but often, a literal translation is no good...

You know those lyrics are so sweet and loving.......almost like a guys first love, like puppy love. The actual vocal & melody is so upbeat it doesn't really fit but I've had a few translations now and all are basically the same. To fully enjoy Jaan Pehechaan Ho you must see the great choreography along with the singing. My favorite Bollywood tune! Thanks again!

Here's what it means (not a literal translation):

-> I want to be your friend, as my life is miserable without you.

aankh na churao—

-> Please don't give me a cold shoulder. You have stolen my heart; atleast I deserve to know your name.

I don't speak Hindi, but I've found 2 translations.
The first seems more literal (word-for-word):
