Considering that the webpage on that link for the proposed American Nightmare 2 is dated 2005, it's probably now a dead project. The website for Jon Keyes's production company Highland Myst used to have the same project listed as American Nightmares, but the last time I looked (several months ago) it had been retitled Lady Misery, with the characters renamed and all references to Jane Toppan removed.
I'd love to see one or more sequels to American Nightmare, but I'm resigned to the fact that it's unlikely to happen. Perhaps one day Keyes will publish a book containing the proposed scripts, so we can at least read them for ourselves.
