Jimmy could have been successful

Thinking about Jimmy's life & how poor they are,in reality there was no reason Jimmy shouldn't of had at least lived a middle class life other then maybe he was just lazy or unmotivated.Jimmy had a low paying security guard job that Greg got for him,and before that they talk that he was a pizza delivery man,think about it Jimmy knew how to fix car's and was very handy and even knew construction,towards the end of the series they bought the fixer upper house and Jimmy remodeled it himself and would do maintenence when things were broken at Greg's house.Jimmy had alot of blue collar skills that pay very well and he was a people person that would have helped him land work & contract's,but I guess if they didn't portray Jimmy as an uneducated loser moocher Greg would not be able to criticize & make fun of him every episode and there would be no show.
