Is Jimmy dead? Spoilers

Jimmy and Christine were in the show Raising Hope and they spoke about Dominic and Logan and how they lived in Greg's guest house (those characters were not seen) and they returned in one of the final episodes. In this episode, another actress plays Christine but Mike O'Mally plays Jimmy but he is dead. I haven't found anything about this on the internet about whether the character is gone forever now and wondered if anyone else had?

Mike O'Mally is not dead.

In the second episode of Raising Hope where Mike O'Mally appears it was questionable as to whether or not he was actually playing Jimmy from Yes, Dear. The first time he appeared it was clear he was playing Jimmy because a number of different things from his life were referenced. However, the second time he appeared they called him Jim and not Jimmy. Christine was called Christy.

It was weird because the character was supposed to be the same character who appeared before. Only this time they dropped any connection that character had to Yes, Dear. It was almost like the writers rewrote the fact that this character crossed over from Yes, Dear.

Didn't forget. Different show runner by then, Greg Garcia left the show/

Different show runner and, in a way, a different show after creator Greg Garcia's departure after the third season because the last season wasn't nearly as funny as the previous seasons (although, to be honest, the show had lost a little luster with each passing seaon, in my opinion).
By the third season, my wife and I watch about two-thirds of all the episodes instead of almost all of them. We don't even watch the fourth season anymore during our repeat viewings of the series.
